Halloween in the Park 2024
It’s that time of year again!!! The Town of Odessa is looking for businesses and individuals who want to hand out candy at our Halloween in the Park event scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 2-4 pm at the Odessa Memorial Park located at 623 Main Street. Kid related business are especially welcome! If you are interested, please fill out this form: https://forms.gle/7HdPNVw9QJhoYLfY6. We are currently accepting donations (monetary, crafts, and/or candy) with a drop box for candy donations outside of the town secretary’s office. Paving / Roadwork Notice
Front Street will be CLOSED starting Wednesday, September 4th, 2024 thru Friday, September 6th, 2024 (weather permitting) for paving work. The roadway will be closed daily from 7am – 5pm with a barricade containing a road closed sign and cones at each end. Residents that live on Front Street are being asked to remove their vehicles from the street before September 4th and park along Main or High Streets during those three days. Additionally, a speed bump will be installed on Friday, September 6th, 2024 on High Street between Fourth and Fifth Streets. Residents that live on that length of High Street will have limited access to the street during milling and paving operations.
Offices Closed Labor Day
Town Hall will be closed Monday, September 2, 2024 in observance of Labor Day.
Demolition Notice
The garages located at 513 Main Street (adjacent to Lorenzo’s Pizza) and 106 N. 6th Street (behind Lorenzo’s Pizza) are scheduled to be demolished on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Please take notice that there will be additional vehicles in the area and the sidewalk in front of the garages will be closed to thru traffic.
